Skill development mission
A national opportunity, made employable.
The National Skill Development Mission was approved by the Union Cabinet on 1 July 2015 and launched on World Youth Skills Day, 15 July 2015. Its purpose is to create convergence across sectors and states in skill-training activity.
Formal skill training reaches only 2.3% of IndiaÔÇÖs workforce.
