Rural youth pathways to wage employment.
Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is the Ministry of Rural Development’s skilling and placement initiative for the occupational aspirations of rural youth.
Rooted in Aajeevika Skills and the Special Projects component of SGSY, DDU-GKY brings State Governments, NIRD & PR and Project Implementing Agencies together around quality training, placement and sustained outcomes.
How the pathway works

Mobilise
Reach eligible rural youth, understand local aspirations and identify the right employment pathway.
Build skills
Deliver structured training through approved centres, qualified teams and defined operating standards.
Validate readiness
Track assessments, documentation and quality requirements so progress can be evidenced.
Enable placement
Connect trained candidates to wage-employment opportunities and support the transition to work.

Support before, during and after delivery.
Every project functionary works to notified DDU-GKY guidelines and SOPs, with mandatory training, assessment and certification. We help turn those requirements into a practical delivery system.
